Studio Policies

Photo & Video:

Photos and videos will be taken before and after treatments for insurance purposes and may be used on our social media platforms for marketing and advertising purposes.

No Guests:

No children, pets, or additional guests are allowed in the studio to prevent hazardous materials exposure and cross-contamination.

No Refunds:

Results vary per individual, and while we cannot guarantee 100% success, we make every effort to achieve the best possible outcome for each client. Please note that there are no refunds once services are performed, as we have committed our time, expertise, and resources to each treatment.

Procedure:

The procedure will not start until you are satisfied with the agreed shape for your facial features. Individuals respond differently to topical numbing; bleeding may affect the outcome, possibly requiring additional sessions. No phone usage during the procedure to minimize distractions.

Touch-ups:

Touch-ups are not included in the initial procedure cost. Pricing for touch-ups depends on the timeframe from the initial

appointment. Touch-ups are meant for color and detail enhancement, not for changing the shape established in the initial session. Shape changes are charged as new services. A follow-up session is recommended 4-8 weeks after the initial procedure. Some clients may need additional sessions, charged accordingly.

Customer Satisfaction:

At Brows by BoYoung, we prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to go above and beyond to ensure a desirable outcome. Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality service and tailoring each procedure to meet individual needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers To Your Common Questions

What exactly is semi-permanent makeup?

Semi-permanent makeup involves the application of pigment into the skin's upper layers to create lasting cosmetic effects, such as enhanced eyebrows, eyeliner, or lip color. Unlike traditional tattoos, they fade over time, typically lasting 1-5 years depending on the area treated and individual factors.

How do I know if I'm a good candidate for semi-permanent makeup?

Ideal candidates are generally those looking for an enduring beauty enhancement who are not under 18, pregnant, nursing, or have specific health conditions like diabetes, skin diseases, or allergies to pigments. A consultation with a professional can help determine if semi-permanent makeup is right for you.

Does semi-permanent makeup hurt?

Discomfort varies by individual, but topical numbing agents are applied to minimize pain. Most clients describe the sensation as tolerable.

How long does the procedure take?

The procedure can last between 1 to 2.5 hours, depending on the complexity and area being treated. This time includes consultation, mapping, numbing, and the application of the pigment.

How should I prepare for my semi-permanent makeup appointment?

Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and certain supplements for 72 hours prior. It's also recommended to avoid sun exposure, waxing, threading, or tinting the area to be treated for several days before your appointment.

What's the difference between microblading and ombre Eyebrows?

Microblading creates hair-like strokes for a natural look using a manual blade. Ombre  Eyebrows give a soft, makeup look using a machine. Your choice depends on the desired outcome and skin type.
